Para 1.20 | We currently provide dolls to 44 hospitals and hospices in England, Scotland, The Isle of Man and Ireland. We have chosen dolls because throughout history, they have been fundamental in getng children to talk about distressing topics through the magic of doll therapy. We want to help more children try to understand and talk about their bereavement. The dolls are sourced from a fair trade provider, we provide boy and girl dolls in muliple ethnicites so all children can choose a doll they identfy with. We have received positve feedback from bereavement midwife teams and from families who have received dolls. |
