Regular activities:
During this period we took in 304 hedgehogs, 197 returned to the wild,
mostly to the person who found them.
We held our Annual Fund Raiser on the 17th September 2023 in Foston
Village Hall, which was very well attended and raised after expenses

We gave 3 talks to various groups within the area.
One of our volunteers ran S different quizzes, on our behalf raising
£765.50 from the quizzes but this also brought in several donations
W8 continued our membership of the British Wildlife Rehabilitation
Council as an Asso¢iate Organisational Member. Three trustees
attended the International Hedgehog Conference at Hartpury University
near Gloucester in January 2024
We ran several face to face training courses to train new carers to help
with our work. We also ran several training coursès for our established
carers to, where they wished. to advance their training.
We completed and updated our Information Booklet. which is sent to
every finder of a hedgehog when we first up date them, for those that do
not have email, they are Posted out.
We produced three n8wsl8tters of our activities and stories of hedgehogs
which we had tr8ated {not all successfully)

We increased our Friends of Hedgehog Welfare, {people who donate
regularly each month) to 31 Friends raising a total of £3,833.76 during
the course of the year plus Gift Aid which is to be claimed in the next
financial year..
We website is still being worked on, our new logo has been agreed and is
now in use.

As the trusteeslmembers of the Hedgehog Welfare you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts In accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (The Act'l.
I report In respect of my examinatlon of the Hedgehog Welfare accounts carried out under section
145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the appllcable D1￿ctionS
given by the Charlty Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
