Calvary Chapel Maidstone is a Christian church affiliated to Calvary Chapel Association and the Calvary Chapel UK group of churches. It was founded in July 2018, and became a registered charity in May 2021.
Structure & Governance
Eldership
The church operates under a plurality of elders. At present four elders are in position, although there is provision for additional elders should the church grow to a sufficient size to necessitate increased leadership.

Three appointed trustees continue to oversee the charity. Two form the leadership of the church, for which the charity represents, the third trustee is independent of the church.

Governance
The church is governed by its constitution which places the day-to-day running of the charity in the hands of the elders, Matthew Hobbs, Ian Fox, Dennis Scott and Jonathan Bourne.

The activities undertaken during the year include:

Achievements & Performance
The achievements and performance during the year include:

Change in congregation – some families have left, new families have joined

The continued teaching of the Bible

The public declaration of the gospel, both in public meetings and street evangelism

The continuation of public meetings at Hermitage Park Community Centre (address above) – available to all members of the public

The baptism of two people

The dedication of one child

The introduction of face-to-face homegroup meetings

Financial Review
The giving received by the church during 2022 was £17,750.61, and the expenditure was £20,124.74. The closing bank balance at 31 December 2022 was £22,215.79.
