Para 1.38 | Volunteers cover the entire lifecycle of the Toe Beans Cat Rescue’s work, from the moment a cat is rescued to the point it is happily adopted, as well as the essential administrative and financial tasks that keep the charity running. The time and skills donated by volunteers completely replace the need for a paid staff, allowing almost all donations to go directly to the care of the cats. |

Para 1.20 | Toe beans have made a considerable positive impact on the feral cat population in Uttlesford, we trap, spay/neuter, and release ferals to prevent the growing of colonies; we also take in cats that have been abandoned or need to be rehomed for whatever reason. This has been good for the older population of Uttlesford as we have been able to take in cats from people who no longer have the capacity to care for them, or have sadly passed away. |

Para 1.21 | On the 31stof December 2024 the charity held a total cash balance of £19,604 with a total of £1,827 in outstanding liabilities (vet bills that had yet to be finalised by year end). Cash receipts for the period totalled £46,766, whilst the total for payments made was £37,157. Our excess receipts over payments totalled £9,609. All outstanding liabilities are due to be paid in full within one month of the year end. |

Sustaining Operations: To ensure that the charity can maintain its essential operations and commitments to beneficiaries— particularly the welfare and care of rescued cats—for a defined period even if fundraising activities are temporarily disrupted. This prevents sudden and damaging reductions in services. 3. Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Toe Beans Cat Rescue I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Toe Beans Cat Rescue (the Charity) for the year ended 31 December 2024. Responsibilities and basis of report As the trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act" or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
