## **Trustees’ Annual Report for the Year Ended 31 March 2022** 

## **1. Purpose and Aims** 

Grace for Impact UK exists to promote better health and wellbeing for individuals and communities who are underserved or vulnerable. 

- Our purpose is rooted in compassion: to share knowledge, provide guidance, and offer practical help that strengthens lives. 

- We aim to advance health, save lives, and uplift communities both in the UK and internationally, working wherever we can make a positive difference. 

## **2. Objectives and Activities** 

During the year ended 31 March 2022, the charity focused its activities on advancing health and wellbeing internationally. 

- The Nigeria GFI project was the charity’s primary programme, supporting communities in Nigeria through targeted health initiatives. 

- Support and advice were provided to beneficiaries through partner organisations. 

- Administrative activities included charity registration, coordination of virtual meetings, and general management to ensure compliance and smooth operations. 

- Collaboration with partners in Nigeria and the United States strengthened the charity’s overseas programmes. 

## **3. Public Benefit Statement** 

By delivering the Nigeria GFI project and providing guidance through partners, the charity helped individuals and communities overseas make informed health choices and improve wellbeing. 

## **4. Achievements and Performance** 

Key achievements in 2021–22 included: 

- Delivery of the Nigeria GFI project, supporting health initiatives overseas. 

- Strengthening partnerships to improve programme delivery. 

- Maintenance of governance and compliance activities.

- Deficit funded from reserves 



Despite limited income, the charity successfully delivered overseas health projects and maintained online support. 

## **5. Financial Review — Year Ended 31 March 2022** 

- Bank opening balance: £6,388.43 

- Bank closing balance: £6,958.43 

- Petty cash: £103.89 

- Amount due: £1,896.11 

Trustees maintained reserves to ensure continuity of operations. The majority of funds were directed toward charitable activities, demonstrating a strong commitment to impact. 

## **6. Structure, Governance and Management** 

Grace for Impact UK is governed by its Board of Trustees, who are responsible for strategic oversight and compliance. 

## **Trustees serving during the year ended 31 March 2022:** 

Adetola Elewa (Chair), Iyabo Adediran (Secretary), Atinuke Ajao, Israel Omojola, Mosunmola Abiola Oluikpe, Olutunmbi Idowu 

The trustees meet regularly to: 

- Monitor charitable activities. 

- Review financial performance. 

- Make strategic decisions to advance the charity’s aims. 

## **7. Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities** 

The trustees are responsible for ensuring that: 

- The charity complies with its governing document and the Charities Act 2011. 

- The accounts give a true and fair view of the charity’s financial position. 

- Accounts are prepared on a Receipts and Payments basis in accordance with applicable regulations. 

The trustees confirm that they have discharged these responsibilities during the year.
