key initatves aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable
communites in The Gambia.
Firstly, the charity funded and oversaw the constructon of two
boreholes in rural areas, providing reliable access to clean and safe
water for several hundred individuals. This has led to a signifcant
reducton in waterborne illnesses, improved hygiene practces, and
reduced the burden - partcularly on women and children - of
travelling long distances to fetch water. The availability of clean
water has also supported beter school atendance and increased
tme for income-generatng actvites.
Secondly, the charity carried out food distributon programmes to
address immediate food insecurity among disadvantaged families.
These distributons provided essental food supplies to households
facing economic hardship, ensuring that basic nutritonal needs
were met and relieving pressure on struggling communites.
Together, these initatves have not only improved the immediate
circumstances of the charity’s benefciaries but have also
contributed to wider social benefts such as improved health,
educatonal engagement, and community resilience. These eforts
align with internatonal development goals and demonstrate the
charity’s commitment to delivering sustainable, practcal support
where it is most needed.|

## **Financial Review**
|Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period|Para 1.21|At the end of the reportng period, the charity had a fnancial
positon of £0 in reserves, with all income received during the year
fully expended on charitable actvites. The charity operated on a
cash-in, cash-out basis, ensuring that all donatons and grants were
directed towards programme delivery, including water access
(creaton of boreholes) and food distributon projects.
There were no outstanding debts or liabilites at the end of the
period. The trustees consider the fnancial performance to be
consistent with the charity’s objectves and scale of operatons.
While the charity remains fnancially stable, the absence of
reserves highlights the need to strengthen income generaton and
to plan for future sustainability.
The trustees contnue to monitor the charity’s fnancial positon
closely and are commited to improving fundraising eforts and
building reserves in future years to enhance the charity’s resilience
and ability to respond to unforeseen challenges.|

enable the charity to build reserves in future periods, ensuring
