The Corner House Project - 1194374 

During the initial period ending in August 2022 following the Project becoming a Charity in May 2021, the group has assisted families and individuals in need, supplying clothing, food parcels, hygiene products and emotional support.  We have donated Oyster cards and Tesco vouchers to Ukrainian refugees to enable them to settle a little more easily into our community. We have held Outreach fortnightly throughout the period to aid those who are homeless, sleeping rough or in need for whatever reason. We have dispensed the above items, along with snack bags, tins of fruit, soup, beans and food donated from a local bakery. 

We have held 3 fund raising events, asking for donations of clothing – coats, gloves, hats, scarves, shoes, underwear and socks for rough sleepers 

We held a gift drive to supply presents to needy children, young carers, vulnerable adults and the elderly in our community in time for Christmas. 

We have liaised closely with other local charities and have coordinated our responses and ensured mutual support where a need has been identified. 

We have continued to receive monetary donations from local people and businesses.
