## **ANNUAL REPORT FINANCIAL YEAR 2023** It’s was a highly impactful year. At the DODM Virtual book club, more children books e.g **The Lord’s Prayer** , **A-Z of Praise** , **My Lunch Box** etc have been written been written by the charity lead, Olubusola Ajayi, as well as exclusive educative magazines. The DODM Virtual Book Club continues to promote reading across all age sets.To encourage reading, the DODM Virtual Book Club started the **BOOK OF THE WEEK.** This highlights a book for the week to the reading community. In addition to this, the **Read A Book A Week Challenge** was introduced to encourage and stimulate reading across all age sets. The Readers and Writers (RAW) Conference also held in July 2023 with the theme, ‘’The Reader, The Writer, and Nation Building’’. The RAW Conference also educates its participants as well as the community through its outreaches on the health benefits of reading with emphasis on leisure reading, and healthy reading. The RAW Conference Community Impact Award was also award to a member of the Holbeach, Lincolnshire Community for over three decades selfless impact to the early years learning in the community.This conference is usually followed by the post conference outreaches to the community. ## **MOVIES** One of our movies, titled ‘’The Pressed’’, a story centered around the christian faith and depression won two awards at the UKCDMA London Region Film Festival in the year 2023. The low budget film was written, produced, directed and edited by the charity lead, Olubusola Ajayi. ## **MUSIC** The Atmosphere of Glory is a music outreach that brings together the community, diverse race or ethnic group under an atmosphere of worship and praise via music. The Atmosphere of Glory has provided a relaxing atmosphere for people in the community either as a physical event or online. The Atmosphere of Glory held in Loughborough and Lincolnshire in the year 2023. It was a highly impactful event. The Atmosphere of Glory Community Impact Award also recognised individuals who have made positive contributions to the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire communities.The awards were personally funded by charity lead, Olubusola Ajayi. **----- Start of picture text -----**

## **ANNUAL REPORT** **FINANCIAL YEAR 2023** ## **HYMNAL FRIDAY** The hymnal Friday was set up to bring alive, appreciate, create more awareness and recognise the works of British hymn writers, as well as other nationals who have composed or written great hymns. Most people sing hymns without even knowing about the authors, and some of this hymns came by inspiration of life experiences of some of the authors. Hymnal Friday has been largely impactful so far. It runs every week online. The WRAP Conference, now a bi-annual conference held a yearly conference. It brought together an online community of christian delivers for a time of worship, listening to the word of God and a time of prayer.
