The trustees present thelr annual report and finanaal statemènts of the charity for the year
ended 30 June 2025. The financlal statements have been prepared In accordance w￿h
Charltles Act 2011 and the Statement of R•comrnended Practice 2(M)8.
Structure• governan￿ and manw*nt
The foundation is a registered charity, number 1194330. and Is constltuted under a trust
deed dated 4 May 2021.
tryxees are appolnted by the existing trustees and serve for three years after which
they mywt themselves forward for rtrappolntment.
At the tr￿stee meetlngs, the trustees agree the broad strategy and areas of acttvity for the
foundation, including consideration of 8rantmakin& investment. reserves, risk management
polices and performance.
We have an applicatlon process where our application fomi Is to be completed and is
revlewed at the trustee meetings to decide if the application Is successful and the grant can
be awarded.
All trustees give their time freety and no trustee remuneration was paid in the y••r.
Objectlves and Actlvftles fty the publk benefit
The charities objertives is to promote community partlclpation in healthy recreation In
Medway• Kent and the surrounding areas, In partiujlar tyy the provision of grants to provlde
and asslst in the prO￿$10n of facllTtles and opportunlties for the playln£ of varlous sports.
Thls year we have been able to support a number of individuals and organlsatlons wlth
grants to contlnulng thelr Interest In sportin8 activities.
The trustees have re8ard to the guidance issued by the Charlty Commi55ion on public
benefit.
Grant-rnakin8 poIIcy
The Foundatlon has a grant maklng policy to athieve its objects for the publlc benefit and
Improve the young people of Medway and Kent and to encoura8e them Into sportlng

actlvitles.
Benefidarles are genwally youn8 p￿PIe and dubs and or8anlsatlons that support young
people In sportlnq activities.
Application are encouraged frorn schools and dubs to alm ts support young people who
would otherwlse be able to participate In their chosen sportlng actlvlty.
Flnanclal Revlew
The trustee Is rellant on fundralslng and donatlons. At the end of June 2025 the charlty had
£13,988 in unrestricted funds.
Trustees, resp￿SIbIlItIeS In relatlon to the fftnar￿al s&itements
The Trustees are responslble for preparin8 the Trustee's Report and the financial
statements Sn ac￿rdanCe wlth the appllcable law and Unlted Kingdom Aecountlng
Standards. The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to
prwire financlal statements for the financial year whlch give a true and fair view of the
stjte of the affairs of the charity and of the inwming resources and applications of
r•Fources of the charity for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the
trustees are requlred to:

state whether the appllcable accountlng standards have been followed, subject to
any departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; and

to presume the charlty wlll contlnue In buslness.
The trustees are re5pon5ible for keeping accountlng records which disclose with
reasonable accuracy the financial position of the charity and enable them to ascertain to
ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charites Act 2011, the Charity
{Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2CM)8 and the provisipns of the trust deed. They are
also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking
reasonable steps for the preventlon and detethon of fraud and other irregularlties.
The trustees are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the
tharlty and financial information included on the charity's website.
