Para 1.20 | This was the charity’s second year of function and was spent engaging with women across the communities of Greater Manchester Main achievements include: • GM4Women2028 secured the tender to facilitate the Greater Manchester Mayoral Women and Girls Equality Panel for another term. This has enabled GM4Women2028 to continue to highlight the issues faced by women and girls across GM with both local and regional policy makers, and hold decision makers to account, change policies, practices and the focus of services delivered to women and girls, especially so in the areas ofsafety, participation in public life, employment, education, and active lives and culture. • GM4Women2028 have facilitated a number of civc engagement events across Greater Manchester that have resulted in policymakers changing processes in order to be more inclusive of the needs of women and girls. • GM4Women2028 have continued to grow networks across Greater Manchester and highlight obstacles, inefficiencies and better ways of working that will allow public, private and third sectors to work together more cohesively. |
