Para 1.17 and 1.19	• GM4Women2028 continued to work with the Greater Manchester Mayoral Women and Girls Equality Panel, and engage policy makers in conversations that progress positive outcomes for women and girls across Greater Manchester. • We applied for and were awarded the tender to deliver facilitation of the Greater Manchester Women and Girls Equality Panel for a second time, and are striving to create more streamlined working between the panel. Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	This was the charity’s second year of function and was spent engaging with women across the communities of Greater Manchester Main achievements include: • In June 2022 GM4Women2028 were awarded funding for a dedicated coordinator position that would be responsible for bringing together all the functions of the charity more cohesively. This enabled more streamlined working and communication, in addition to better coordination of volunteer time. • GM4Women2028 secured the tender to facilitate the Greater Manchester Mayoral Women and Girls Equality Panel for a second term. This has enabled GM4Women2028 to continue to highlight the issues faced by women and girls across GM with both local and regional policy makers, and

hold decision makers to account, change policies, practices and the focus of services delivered to women and girls, especially so in the areas of safety, participation in public life, employment, education, and active lives and culture . • GM4Women2028 have facilitated dialogue event in Wigan and Bolton, that have resulted in policymakers changing processes in order to be more inclusive of the needs of women and girls. • GM4Women2028 have continued to grow networks across Greater Manchester and highlight obstacles, inefficiencies and better ways of working that will allow public, private and third sectors to work together more cohesively.

The Board of Trustees oversees all aspects of the charity.

The Operations and Communications Group oversees the day-to-day event planning and communications strategy.

		The Oversight Committee agrees longer term strategic focus and Business decision making. The ‘All hands’ meeting co-ordinates the five thematic groups that are responsible for the collection of data in the areas of Safety, Participation (in public life), Employment, Education, and Active Lives and Culture. Each of the nine groups includes or is led by a trustee.
