• GM4Women2028 worked to help establish the Greater Manchester Mayoral Women and Girls Equality Panel, and continued to engage policy makers in conversations that would progress positive outcomes for women and girls across Greater Manchester. • We then applied for and were awarded the tender to deliver facilitation of the Greater Manchester Women and Girls Equality Panel (https://www.greatermanchester- ca.gov.uk/what-we- do/communities/women-and-girls- equality-panel/). • GM4Women2028 also facilitated hustings for the Greater Manchester Mayoral candidates, with a focus of services for women and girls in Greater Manchester. • On 6th February 2022, we had the annual GM4Women scorecard data reveal, an event held annually that highlights the progress that has been made by and for |

Para 1.20 | This was the charity’s first year of function and was spent setting up operational functions including a bank account and PayPal Giving facility. We also prepared a suite of policies and applied for funds. Main achievements include: • The groundwork that GM4Women2028 has done in advocating for the creation of the Greater Manchester Women and Girls Equality Panel has been significant. This panel, and the securing of the tender for its facilitation have enabled GM4Women2028 to highlight the issues faced by women and girls across GM with both local and regional policy makers. This is turn has also enabled us to hold decision makers to account and change policies, practices and the focus of services delivered to women and girls, especially so in the areas of safety, participation in public life, employment, education, and active lives and culture. • Working with the Pankhurst Trust lead organisation, GM4Women2028 applied for and was awarded the tender to facilitated the Women and Girls Equality Panel for Greater Manchester Combined Authority. • GM4Women2028 have facilitated dialogue that have resulted in policymakers changing processes in order to be more inclusive of the needs of women and girls. • GM4Women2028 have continued to grow networks across Greater Manchester and highlight obstacles, inefficiencies and better ways of working that will allow public, private and third sectors to work together more cohesively. |

| The Operations and Communications Group oversees the day-to-day event planning and communications strategy. The Oversight Committee agrees longer term strategic focus and Business decision making. The ‘All hands’ meeting co-ordinates the five thematic groups that are responsible for the collection of data in the areas of Safety, Participation (in public life), Employment, Education, and Active Lives and Culture. Each of the nine groups includes or is led by a trustee. |
