To benefit the residents of Coleman Ward and the neighbourhood by associating together the said residents and the local authority, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

In managing Coleman Lodge, the trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s public benefit guidance. Coleman Community Association’s principal source of funds is donations from local residents, particularly those who make use of Coleman Lodge facilities. The management of CCA and of Coleman Lodge is through volunteers only, so all funds raised are used to improve and maintain the centre and its facilities.
