| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | We have spent a lot of time focusing on our nursery and primary school. This year we had our first candidate class in which all students passed their end of primary exams. A phonics programme was set up this year. A volunteer went to a small village school to teach phonics to students that do not have access to high quality English teaching. On Saturdays we continued to run community activity days which involved playing games, sports, educational activities, tutoring for anyone who needed it. Different training sessions have taken place this year including phonics, maths & first aid. These have been aimed at members of the community. A community Easter Egg hunt took place at our charity base in Uganda. Almost 100 children from the community to take part. |
