## **Annual Report of the Goonvean Engine Trust 2025**

During the year the Board of the Goonvean Engine Trust has succeeded in obtaining an agreement, in principle, to transfer the Engine from Imerys to GET. It was intended to move the engine components from their current store to Lappa Valley Railway but discussions with their management revealed complex ownership and tenancy arrangements on parts of the site where they were suggesting that GET based its operation. Rick Stewart started to investigate the precise nature of these, revealing concerns over security of tenure if the Trust erected a new engine house. 

Sadly, one of our trustees, Ron Flaxman, passed away during the year leaving the charity with four trustees.
