**accounts for the charity. We**
**approached many banks and all**
**declined to open accounts for us. This**
**is making it impossible to collect funds.**
**However, the trustees obtained some**
**personal protective equipment costing**
**around £2000.00. This was sent to a**
**peripheral hospital in the Eastern**
**Sudan. This equipment was desperately**
**needed by the health staff there. It**
**helped them to perform their duties**
**while being protected against**
**transmission of COVID infection.**
**Our sister organisation in the Sudan,**
**known as SEDSO ( Sudan Education**
**Supporting Organisation ), is receiving**
**funds from North America, Canada,**
**Australia, Gulf states, and some**
**European countries. It managed to build**
**some new schools, refurbish some**
**existing schools, and dig some wells.**|
