The promotion of community participation in healthy reueation for the benefrt of the
inhabitants ofthe LA)ndon Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the surrounding area by
the provision of coaching and training for playing of f(KYtball and other outdoor field S￿rtS
The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisurely time ￿¢upatiOn of youth
individuals who have ne&1 of such facilities by reason of financial hardship or s￿181 and
economic circumstan¢¢s with the object of improving the condition of life of the youths,
full capacities.

The charity organised after sch(KJl f(K)tball actives for the Iwa] Child￿ during the year under
review. These activities and achievements in¢lude the following:

Generous grdDt provideAI by Hollick Family Foundation for Girls Fwtball
Offering free fimltball sessions. game4 and tournaments for all female m¢mb¢rs
Collaborating with local schools youth centers. and councils to promote girls. involvement
in football through Fun Friends & Football initiative
Recwitment of more female coaches for the Wildcats Fwtba]I for Girls project
One-year access grdnted by Westway Tnjst for Futsal Sessions at Westway SpoTts Centre
Grant received from We5tway Trustto host a Festive Youth Tournament in Dttember 2024
Participation of Ul 2. U14. and U16 teams in regional and international tournaments againsl
teams like Benfic4 Toulon SC. Valenciennes FC, SN)rting Portugal. Rotterdam. D¢portivo

In April 2024 to August 2024. professional clubs Norwich FC, Fulham FC. and QPR w¢
involved In showcasing games.
The UIO. U12. al￿ U15 teams participated in a Midweek Youth Football Lea8u¢ organis¢d
by Foxes Football Club. This league aimed to enhance the playeTS' f(M)tball skills while
limiting access to distractions like television and smartphones.
A partnership with EuropathgAtheltico Maidenhead led to the U12, U14, and U16
teams joining an Advanced Saturday & Sunday Youth tkague for developmentsl

Notably. more than 6 players from the U12, U14, and U16 teams were s¢le¢ted during trials
to join the QPR Advanced Development Team for a 12-week progrdm.
In a memordble experience. the Girls Team from Katanga watched the England Women's
Team face off against Sweden Women's Team at Wembley Stadium.
Additionally, a scout from Crystal Palace attended several matches, r¢¢ognising the players,
positive attitude and techni￿1 skills. The scout suggested that Katanga Youth FC provide
strength and conditioning lessons to improve the players, physical abilities.
Tayo, a Strength & Condttioning Coach, generously dediG*ed time to train all age groups
during the summer Holiday Football Camp.
Our players participated in Football Sessions led by a UEFA A Licensed Coach.
Katangayourb FC. repre￿tIng West LA)ndon. reachedthe finals ofthe 2TR London Estat¢
Cup Townament at Paddington Rec Ground in Maida Vale. A Ul I player re£eived a
Trophy for their outstanding Commitment & Hard WorK as featured in the Camden
Th¢ club recruited a Club Physio and Nutritionist to provide support for injuries and offer
dietary guidance to the youth before and after activities.
5 additional volunteers were brought on t*)ard to assist the youn8 players and the club in
achieving their full potential.
Founder Ruphael Fl obtained UEFA License 2023 November. FIFA Agent License,
Fundraising Certificate, and multiple coaching Certifications including The FA Sudden
Cardiac ArresL The FA Concussion Guidelines. and CPD Certified Covid Awareness.
Ikborah Workw co-founder of Katanga Youth FC. is a certified Club Welfare oificer
who collaborates closely with the County Welfar¢ Offi¢¢r. She is also certified in
Safeguarding Youth & Adults.
A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers. as well as the Founder and Co-Founder. for
their unwavering dedication and hard work. Your support is absolutely invaluable in
bringing to life this wonderful experience for all the young people at Katanga Youth FC.
Your efforts have truly made a wsitive impact and brought smiles to the faces of these
groups hailing from one of the most deprived wards with high crime rates in London.
Financial review
Funding
Our funding duTing the year under review w&$ mainly from local community members who use
our serVi￿S as well as from Holick Family Foundation and Westway Trust Event.
The charity would also like to thank all those who generously funded and supp)rted our
activities. It is through their supp)rt that the charity has largely been able to implement our
projects for the benefit of our wmmunity.

¢nded 31° March 2024. which have been preFwed on the basis of receipts and payments.

The trustees of the charity ar¢ r¢s￿nsible for the preparation of accounts" w¢ o)nsider that the
audit requirement under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 does not apply. It is my
resFrf)nsibility to examine the account% withoui tvforniing an audiL and to report to trustees.
Bafis ofindependent examiner'$ rewrt
This repKJrt is in respect of an examination carri¢d out under section 43 of the Charities Act
1993 aThd in a￿ordance with the d1￿ctionS given by the charity commissioners under section
43(7Xb). An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity
trustees and a comparison of the accounts Presented with those rttords. It also includes a review
of the accounts and making such enquiries as are nece&sary for the purpose of this rewrt. The
procedures undertaken do not constitute an audit.

Based on my examination, no matter has come to attention which gives me reasonable cause to
believe that in any material resFect accounting records for th¢ year ended 31 March 2024 have
not been in accordance with section 41 of the Charities Act 1993, or that the accounts presented
do not accord with those rxords or wmply with the accounting requirements of the Ch8rities
Act 1993. No matter has come to my attention in connection with my examination to which, in
my opinion, attention should be drawm to enabl¢ a proper understating of the accounts to be
