Annual Report and Statement of Accounts - Financial Year 23/24
This year our fund raising and social activities have been limited as several members relocated and have not been able to offer support. However, a core of members have continued to meet, including one new member, and we are confident that in the new financial year we will be joined by several more new members. In the meantime, we have agreed to focus on supporting a Nigerian Student, Emmanuella Ezugworie, who suffers from brittle bones and could not access the university place she was offered without financial support. We learnt about Emmanuella from a Nigerian priest who is working in the UK. We have had regular contact with Emmanuella, who has successfully completed the first year of her Psychology degree.
In this financial year we have not held any fund raising events but have received small regular donations from some of our members.
