| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Work is ongoing in relation to the lifeboat. She is currently housed in a marquee where work takes place. Over the next two years we hope to complete the restoration at which time the life boat will be made seaworthy and will be publicly displayed. The restoration process will involve local volunteers, apprentices and enhance the retention of traditional skills. Ultimately the restored lifeboat will generate local interest in the maritime heritage and drive economic benefit through tourist interest. |
