Charitable Objectives: Tabayee Development Centre operates with the following purposes, as outlined in our constitution:

The relief of unemployment by the provision of vocational training and education amongst asylum seekers and refugees.

The relief of poverty, sickness, and distress by the provision of humanitarian aid.

The advancement of education of the public in the Kurdish language, art, literature, and cultural heritage.

To advance the Islamic religion in the UK for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, producing and/or distributing literature on Islam.
Activities Undertaken: During this financial year, the charity has actively pursued its objectives through various activities, including:

Training programs and vocational education for asylum seekers and refugees.

Humanitarian aid initiatives to alleviate poverty and distress.

Educational programs focusing on the Kurdish language, art, literature, and cultural heritage.

Holding prayer meetings, lectures, and distributing literature on Islam.
Fundraising and Community Involvement: Tabayee Development Centre actively engages with the local community to raise funds for humanitarian causes worldwide. The Trustees carefully vet and approve causes to ensure alignment with the charity's mission.
Supplementary School: The charity operates a supplementary school for local children, imparting knowledge about the Kurdish language, art, literature, and cultural heritage. Additionally, the school covers other supplementary subjects to contribute to the holistic development of children.
Place of Worship and Discussion: We provide a dedicated space for prayer, lectures, and general discussions regarding the Islamic faith, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.
