Myra Mullins Memorial Trust

Annual Report and Accounts for the period 06/04/2023 - 05/04/2024

Trustees:

Patricia Wilson

Richard David Roy Bevan

During the period under review there has been a change in Trustees. Two of the three original Trustees were unable to continue acting as Trustees– Peter Joslin passed away and Graham Rowles lost mental capacity. Therefore a deed of appointment was signed on 14[th] January 2024, appointing Richard David Roy Bevan as a Trustee.

Activities

In view of the inability of the Trustees to find volunteers paid or unpaid, to carry out the objectives of the charity there have no fund raising or pastoral activities carried out on behalf of the charity. Hence the accounts below show no donations being received or payments being made out to volunteers or beneficiaries.

Investment

The Trustees approach to investment has been to follow a low risk approach. Although they appreciate that inflation has the affect of eating into the purchasing power of the capital. Nevertheless they are comfortable in holding the assets of the charity in two fixed rate, fixed term accounts as shown below:

The Cambridge and Counties Bank account matured on 11[th] December 2023 and has been reinvested as follows:

£27,216.80 held in Cambridge and Counties 2yr Fixed Term Account – 5.2% interest
