Through pastoral counselling and home visitations, the church offered emotional and spiritual support to indw¢duals facing personal, health. or family chalL8ng8S, thereby improving wembeing and resilience among benefi¢iaries. Flnancial Review Al the end of the financial year ending 31 January 2026, Goshen Church reported a surplus of £17,286. This represents a significant improvement compared to the average annual surplus of approximately £3.000 over the previous three years. Review of the charty's financial posilion at the end of the period Para 1.21 The increase is attributable to careful stewardship of resources, consistent voluntary gtving from members, and prudent cost managemenl across the hurch's core activities. This positive financial outcome has strengthened the church's reserves positron, provKling a more stable foundation to support ongoing ministry, outreach. and operatnal needs. The trustees are encouraged by this improved fanCIal performance and remain committed lo maintaining financial sustainability. They w1 conltnue lo monitor income and expenditure closely, ensuring that all funds are used in accordance with the charty's objectives and in pursuit of long-term mission goals. Responsibilities and basis of report As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements ofthe Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145{5)(b) ofthe Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination.
