The years 2023-2024 has been much more successful for Rubéns Roar with many more families supported.
There has been a lot more engagement from local hospice settings alongside bereavement suites. Many more funeral directors have reached out for support this year which has meant increased outgoings.
We are looking at ways to carry forward the support we offer to reach more families and professionals who may need our help. There are also plans to roll out bereavement journals and resource booklets to all our local bereavement centres, hospices and funeral directors to support child bereaved families throughout the heartbreaking loss of a child.
As a side note, we have funded the placement of multiple Audio story book devices within local hospice settings, alongside offering support to their families in times of financial difficulties.
We continue to raise funds via families we have supported and by holding our own fundraising events. We are proud to of achieved big things this year and are excited to continue and expand on growth ensuring child bereaved families receive the support they deserve into the year 2025.
