In the period there were 21 volunteer
Stewards who were in the museum during I
June- 30 September meeting and greeting
visitors. All the Trustees are volunteers.

Geoffrey Munn. well known experton
Antiques Roadshow, wsited the
museum to provide an appraisal ofthe
Faberge items in the Sir Henry
Thompson cabinet
One olour glass cabinets was
repurposed to create a Detectorists
display along with local archaeology.
Two trustees attended an eHive
training course at Lowestoft
An outreach project provtded displays
for a VE Day exhibition, along with
tslks to schoolchildren on life in WW2.
Attendance with display exhibits at
Framlingham Together event
Research into Fran]lingham during
Roman and Medieval periods.
The museum's book Framlingham A
tour Through Time continues to sell,
with a total of 714 sold to the endof
Septetnber with a profit of £4,291. It is
available to buy in the castle shop and
local bookshops.
Work is ongoiTtg in terms of adding
additional information and photos to
the eHive data base.
Our stewards have provided a sterling
service again. In Maywe visited
Laxfield Museum where their
stewards provided us with a personal
tour of the extensive exhibits. This was
followed by lunch at the nearby Royal
Oak We welcomed four new stewards
this year.
During their time of stewarding this
year, 7.997 adults and 2.164 clkildren
visited the museum.
The museum is on Instagram and
Facebook There ha5 been much work
on the website which is being
developed with more articles and
-photos being added.
