## **Our Aims and objectives**
## **Purposes and Aims**
Our Charity’s purpose is to raise awareness of Pembroke as the birthplace of Henry VII and to advance the education of the public in the Welsh heritage of the Tudor dynasty, in particular, but not exclusively, by developing a Henry Tudor Centre in Pembroke.
## **Current Progress**
Pembrokeshire County Council are undertaking the redevelopment of our proposed new home with a completion date of March 2024.We have obtained grant funding from Pembrokeshire County Council’s Enhancing Communities Grant to undertake the design of our exhibition amounting to £81,300. This award covers two aspects of the project, the design of the exhibition and further academic research into Welsh cultural history at the time of Henry VII and his ancestors. Design consultants and researchers at the University of Wales Aberystwyth have been appointed to
undertake that work. We have also obtained grant funding to enable user surveys to be commissioned that will support an application for capital funding.
