This departure has involved following the Accounng and Reporng by Charies: Statement of Recommended Pracce applicable to charies preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporng Standard for Smaller Enes published on 16 July 2014 rather than the Accounng and Reporng by Charies: Statement of Recommended Pracce effecve from 1 April 2005 which has since been withdrawn.

Going concern

There are no material uncertaines about the charity's ability to connue, but the Trustees have resolved to close the charity as the intended purpose could not be met.

Disclosure exempons

The enty sasfies the criteria of being a qualifying enty as defined in FRS 102. As such, advantage has been taken of the following disclosure exempons available under paragraph 1.12 of FRS 102:

(a) No cash flow statement has been presented for the charity.

(b) Disclosures in respect of financial instruments have not been presented.

Judgements and key sources of esmaon uncertainty

The preparaon of the financial statements requires management to make judgements, esmates and assumpons that affect the amounts reported. These esmates and judgements are connually reviewed and are based on experience and other factors, including expectaons of future events that are believed to be reasonable under the circumstances.

Fund accounng

General unrestricted income funds comprise those funds which the trustees are free to use for any purpose in the furtherance of charitable objecves.

Designated unrestricted funds are funds designated for a parcular purpose by the trustees.

Restricted funds are funds received for purposes specified by the donors and those funds are expended in accordance with donors' wishes.

3. Accounng policies connued

Income

All income is included in the statement of financial acvies when entlement has passed to the charity, it is probable that the economic benefits associated with the transacon will flow to the charity and the amount can be reliably measured. The following specific policies are applied to parcular categories of income:

Volunteers and donated services and facilies

The value of services provided by volunteers is not incorporated into these financial statements.

Expenditure

Expenditure is recognised on an accruals basis as a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT which cannot be fully recovered, and is classified under headings of the statement of financial acvies to which it relates.

Expenditure on charitable acvies includes all costs incurred by a charity in undertaking acvies that further its charitable aims for the benefit of its beneficiaries, including those support costs and costs relang to the governance of the charity apporoned to charitable acvies.

Financial instruments

A financial asset or a financial liability is recognised only when the enty becomes a party to the contractual provisions of the instrument.

The charity only has financial assets and financial liabilies of a kind that qualify as basic financial instruments which are inially recognised at the amount receivable or payable including any related transacon costs.

Current assets and current liabilies are subsequently measured at the cash or other consideraon expected to be paid or received and not discounted.
