**Objects:** 1) TO ADVANCE THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL AND DONCASTER, ENGLAND BY SUPPORTING ACCESS TO MUSICAL TUITION AND INSTRUMENTS AND HELPING TO FACILITATE MUTUAL LEARNING AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES. 2) TO ADVANCE IN LIFE, RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF AND HELP SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED YOUNG PEOPLE IN RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. THE ABOVE OBJECTS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE BRAZILIAN BASED CHARITABLE ORGANISATION ASSOCIAÇÃO MUSICAL FAVELA BRASS.

**Activities:** To advance in life, relieve the needs of and help socially disadvantaged young people in Rio de Janeiro through the provision of musical education and performance in local communities. This is achieved by supporting access to instruments, musical and performance accessories and musical tuition.
