FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 31 MARCH 2022
Achievements and performance,
The period to 31 March 2022 saw the trustees confirm the aims of the charity and determine how to deliver on these through partnerships and direct mailing channels. A clear strategy was created which covered aspects such as position ourselves. By the end of March 2022 we had successfully started our 100 fundraising campaign and agreed to work with Lancashire Police, with our first delivery
also embarked on talks with other agencies and organisations. The charity received some phenomenal press coverage during the period including being interviewed by BBC breakfast on 2 occasions. The greatest achievement was how many people we were able to help in our short first period and the messages of thanks that we received.
Financial review and reserves
Total income for the year was £51,289 and expenditure was £11,549. At the end of the year the charity had restricted funds carried forward of £9,928 and unrestricted funds of £39,740. The Trustees are reviewing the reserves policy.
Plans for future periods
Following on from our partnership with Lancashire police, the charity is now working with two more police forces and actively in talks with others. We supply to hospitals within Lancashire care trust and are hopeful to expand to other authorities in the near future. We also are working with other charities, with coroner offices and funeral directors across the North West.
