Annual Report to Trustees – 31 March 2025
Dear Trustees,
We are pleased to share with you the Annual Report for K9Lives for the year ending 31 March 2025. This past year has been one of progress, growth, and continued dedication to the cause of helping India’s stray animals. Your support has been the cornerstone of our work, enabling us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and respond to urgent needs.
New Initiatives in 2025
After the release of these accounts, we made a large contribution towards the plight of several dogs that were abandoned in Nepal, we have contributed towards vet bills and carriers and hope to find them their forever homes in Europe.
We have supported the sterilization and the Rabies vaccination of community dogs in Bangalore partnered with the feeders. Having worked with the locals directly and not through NGOs’, it is apparent that more people need to get involved to collect data of the dogs in their areas and to ensure that they are being sterilized on time. It is rather frustrating to find that there are more people who are quick enough to cause obstacles than to assist in finding ways to manage the situation.
Our outreach at the grassroots level has enabled us to make meaningful connections.
Ongoing Work and Partnerships
Much of our continued work has mirrored the strategic goals from last year. We have sustained our support for Humane Society International/India’s mass sterilisation and vaccination drives in Dehradun. To date, over 1,322 street dogs have been sterilised thanks to our collective efforts.
Financial Overview
A full financial statement has been provided separately. We continue to maintain a low overhead approach, ensuring that most of your donations go directly to animal care, surgeries, and shelter support. Looking Ahead
We remain focused on scaling our impact. Plans are underway to pilot a mobile sterilisation and vaccination drive in rural areas where there is either no access to veterinary care or very basic support.
On behalf of the team at K9Lives, thank you again for your trust, your time, and your ongoing commitment to the animals who need us most.
With gratitude,
Sandipa Law
