Ross on Wye Lions Club was fonned in 1971 and is part of Lions Clubs
International. (Became CIO in 2021)
As a service Club our aim is to support needy individuals and
organisations in the community by raising funds or by giving seNice, also
supporting humanitarian needsldisasters across the world, through Lions
International.
To promote the principles of good governance and good citizenship.

Ross on Wye Lions Club raised funds through activities such as running
charity shop, bucket collections, Beer & Cider Festival and firework
night event.
We funded needy causes such as. Food hampers, First Responders,
JKHS, Action Buss, Basement Trust, Hereford Hospital, Blood Bikes,
Ukraine Stoves, Shed for Hospital, Monmouth Floods, Ross Rugby Club,
Bleed Kits.Defibs.
The Trustees consider they have complied with their duty to have due
regard to the commissions public benefit when exercising any powers of
duty to which guidance is relevant.
Ross on wye Lions also performed service adivities to the communtiy by
holding community events such as a Pancake race, litter picking,
collecting used spectacles, message in a bottle, etc.
