issued by the Charity of COVID a local charity, that met this need Commission on public for children, has closed leaving many families benefit without much needed respite. Wirral’s local assessment of need (2016) states that there are 1660 school aged children on the Wirral with an Education, Health Care Plan and 56.4% of these children are placed within specialist schools which highlights the amount of families in need. This service will provide support to children and young people with special needs as it provides a safe space for them to socialise and access a range of different opportunities with staff that understand their needs and can support them to communicate in a way that best suits their needs and capabilities.

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The Charity has been in the planning and<br>development stages since gaining its charity<br>commission approval, it will be shortly<br>launching its offering to community at the end<br>of Quarter 1, early Quarter 2 2023.  The<br>reason for delay is due to funding and the<br>ability to secure a play site and office to<br>operate from.<br>For the short, medium and long term we have<br>completed budgets and projections to secure a<br>fully working site based on income from<br>charging fees on each child or young adult<br>attending, we are also in the process of<br>applying to secure funding from charities and<br>Trusts set up to assist charities such as ours in<br>the local communities.<br>We envisage that we will be making a strong<br>and positive contribution to the local<br>community by offering support and places to<br>families that have lost the equivalent SEND &<br>PMLD centres that were provided previously by<br>the Local council and governments and have<br>been closed due to budget cuts,|
