Status Cylch Meithrin Talwrn is a charity organisation
Trustees/Directors The directors of the charitable company (“the charity”) are its
trustees for the purpose of charity law and throughout this report are collectively referred to as the trustees.
The trustees who served during the year and since the year end were as follows:

Structure, Governance and Management
Cylch Meithrin Talwrn
The trustees of Cylch Meithrin Talwrn are pleased to present their report together with the unaudited financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 March 2025. All trustees give their time voluntarily and receive no remuneration or other benefits (apart from limited travelling expenses)
During the year the Trustees have acted in close liaison with Mudiad Meithrin Wales in connection with many of their activities.
Activities and Achievements of Cylch Meithrin Talwrn
In planning activities for the year, the Trustees keep in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at their meetings.
Trust Activities during 2024-25
1) Administration:
All trustees remained throughout the financial year.
2) Funding:
The following funds were received:

Anglesey County Council’s contribution to the funding of early years placements

Grants from local charities to support the purchasing of equipment for play and creative play

Income from bonus ball competition, online fundraising app and open days along with organised money raising events
3) Play Equipment
Following completion of a course, staff received a grant to buy play equipment. Things purchased with the grant included, a soft play body mat, parachute and a bouncer.
Trustees Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
This report is prepared in accordance with the special provisions for small companies subject under Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006. This report was approved by the trustees
