Support Futures Trustees Report for the year 2023
The Trustees report for the year 2023 is as follows. Relevant subjects have been itemised and listed below.
Trustee Meetings
A series of meetings were held through the year to keep the trustees informed as to any progress or challenges. This coupled with a WhatsApp group kept the trustees informed and allowed them to comment on any activities or plans
Support Futures Coaching Programmes
The accredited Support Futures Coaching programmes ran effectively through the year. Programmes were held at “The Way Youth Zone” in Wolverhampton, RG Boxing Gym in Bilston and the Duncan Edwards centre in Dudley
Through the various programmes nearly one hundred people benefitted from our work during the year
Hypnotherapy and Mental Health Coaching
As well as providing the standard Support Futures Programme we began offering free Hypnotherapy and mental health coaching separately.
The numbers of people going through this were much lower but we managed to provide free help to people for a therapy that would normally cost them approximately £75 per hour if they went to a private therapist
Demographic
We note that most of the people currently benefitting from our programme are female. There is also a good degree of ethnic and racial diversity within the cohort that we have worked with this year
Fundraising and Grants
Despite huge efforts our fundraising efforts were not successful and we were largely dependent on grants from organisations including but not exclusive to the National Lottery
The Trustees acknowledge the massive amounts of work put in by our volunteers on the fundraising side.
Our focus in the year 2024 is to maximise our grant applications and limit our fundraising and events
Treasury
The year ended with the charity financially solvent but not in as strong a position as we would ideally like to be in
The Trustees acknowledge the efforts and time of our treasurer during this period. With the added complication of VAT calculations Krissy has worked extremely hard and she has our thanks in her ongoing efforts
Safeguarding and Health & Safety
We are satisfied that our procedures are all up to date for these important issues

Support Futures Audit statement for the year 2023
Based upon the following year end reports.

iii). The Trustees report for 2023.
iv). On site location visits, participation and observance.
The Trustee Meetings were shown to be held as appropriate detailing any necessary action or new developments.
It is noted the Support Futures Coaching Programme has been effective. As an independent auditor I have attended and assessed sessions in all three locations : 'The Way Youth Zone in Wolverhampton, RG Boxing Gym in Bilston and the Duncan Edwards Centre in Dudley.
I can confirm the sessions are extremely professionally run and are potentially of great benefit for all attendees.
Individual needs are taken care of throughout the programme taking in to account age, gender and physical abilities.
Mental Health Coaching :
I attended a number of sessions purely as an observer.
These usually followed the training sessions mentioned in the previous section. This is a service that was carried out in an excellent manner and provides an opportunity to improve mental wellbeing.
Summary :
Support Futures has provided a trustworthy, reliable and effective opportunity for improving one's physical and mental health with due diligence. The organisation has shown by it's fund raising efforts, financial solvency and commitment to health and safety that it has a genuine role to play in this sector.
