## _SWAIL HOUSE ASSOCIATION ANNUAL REPORT 2021/2022_ 

## _CHAIRMANS REPORT_ 

_The annual general meeting took place on Saturday 7[th] May 2022. Since being registered with the Charity Commission on 27[th] March 2021 the trustees have been able to action and go forward with our plans set out prior to registration.  These plans have mainly involved putting the structure and resources in place to put us in a good position for our second year of operation.  These plans included setting up a Treasurers BANK ACCOUNT, CREATING A WEBSITE, CREATING COMMUNICATION LINKS VIA THE WEBSITE AND BY E- MAIL INCLUDING COMMUNITY LINKS VIA THE LOCAL TALKING NEWSPAPER and generally making visually impaired of our new organization.  In terms of events we have held quiz nights and social events where entertainment can be provided.  We have made a start on recruiting volunteers to assist us in our aims and this will be an important issue for us in 2022/2023.  The ground work has been done in our first year and we look forward to providing more events in the following years._
