To advance the Islamic faith in accordance with the statement of faith (The Noble Quran) 2. The advancement of Education 3. Moral and financial assistance to the needy 4. Lecture on Moral, religious, and social aspects of life. ## **Achievements & Performance:** During the year under review, the following was achieved: - The Trustees of the charity have been increased to eight (8) trusteeships during the last AGM meeting and election held on the 12[th] of November 2022 with each of the trustees handling different portfolios for proper coordination of the charity activities. - Election and re-election of some of the trusteeships were successfully conducted at the AGM held on the 12[th] of November 2022. - The registration of NGM membership register was updated regularly to accommodate members joining the charity. - The Trustees/Management with the support of members ensure that we continue to provide supplementary tutorial classes for members’ children and children within the community. - The Trustees/management ensure that the weekly and online Quran/Arabic lessons for the children and adults are ongoing as provided by the NGM Board of Mission. - The Trustees/management in conjunction with the NGM mission Board ensure that the faith and spiritual activities of the charity are conducted by giving moral, spiritual, and other support to all its members. - The Trustee/management continues to provide first aid training, safeguarding training, and other relevant training for its members in compliance with training and re-training policies and guidelines. - The charity was able to raise funds among its members to build additional structures within existing ones to accommodate more activities. - The charity had a successful picnic at Formby Beach in Liverpool for both youth and elders. ## **Activities** – - The charity has brought our older adult youths under one umbrella to be managed by a youth leader under the supervision of coordinators appointed by trustees to see to their career growth and development, marriage counseling, and others. - The charity has continued to give weekly lectures to our younger youths both moral, educational, and spiritual guidance as coordinated under the supervision of volunteers. - The charity has continued to organise outdoor events for our teeming youths in the communities during their school term holiday. - The charity has continued to provide different activities both indoors and outdoors for our elderly to bridge the isolation gap. ## **Volunteers** - The activities of the charity are carried out by volunteers. The number of volunteers has been on the increase as more members join the charity. The trustees have been providing training to the volunteers and are immensely grateful to all the volunteers for their continuous support to the charity. ## **Financial Assistance** - The Charity donated £1000 to the Muslim Association (Old Kent Road), London to support in building the new edifice of the association in London. - The Charity has continued to render moral, spiritual support, and financial assistance to members who are bereaved during the year under review. ## **Visiting Patients in Hospitals** - The charity's monthly volunteering visits to the hospitals in Greater Manchester and its environs to provide moral and spiritual support to patients are coordinated by the Islamic Chaplain (Imam Mulfadil Olasheni Junaid Adeshina) who is a registered member and also a member of the charity mission board. ## **Weekly Spiritual Care** - The charity's weekly Islamic spiritual prayer where members develop their Islamic faith is conducted every Friday and Sunday of the week. The members of the charity were able to discuss matters and issues related to Islamic, social interests and to promote community cohesion to other faiths and cultures. ## **NGM Supplementary Lesson** - The charity continues to offer extracurricular lessons to our youth and members of the communities. I Mr Samuel Akinsola acted as an independent examiner to verify the financial account of the above charitable organisation for the under review from 1[st] July 2022 – 30th June 2023. The accrual account has been prepared in a going concern as prepared by the Treasurer of the charity with no concerns. The income and expenditure were checked with the bank statement with Barclays Bank as provided. The charity had recorded major incomes in the form of fundraising from its members during the year under review to erect additional/attached buildings to the existing ones. The donations were described as cash deposits in the income analysis of the financial account under review. I have advised the treasurer and the finance team of the charity in my discussion and report that such fundraising donations should be allocated to a fixed name such as (Building Donations) in the analysis.
