ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30[th] SEPTEMBER 2022
The Trustees present their report with the financial statement, prepared using receipts and payments, for the year ended 30[th] September 2022.
## **Structure, Governance and Management**
The charity was registered on 23[rd] March 2021, and is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (‘CIO’). Four charity trustees manage the affairs of the CIO.
## **Objectives and Activities**
The objects of the CIO are to promote and uphold the principles of the Christian Faith and to relieve poverty, sickness, need or hardship to any person without prejudice in Sierra Leone, or other parts of the world as the trustees may from time to time consider appropriate.
## **Achievements, Performance and Public Benefit**
The CIO continues to visit villages and communities where they show the Jesus film and preach the message of Jesus. Currently there are ten communities that the CIO are working closely with. In each of these communities the CIO are working with the local pastors and church leaders, encouraging them and training them in small group discipleship and teaching. In each of these ten communities the small group training continues and groups are growing.
The CIO vehicle was delivered and released into the care of Pastor Ken Fullah who is the coordinator of the Maranatha work in Sierra Leone. This was done during the visit of our trustees in November 2021. During this visit the trustees stayed in the property that was rented as an office facility for the CIO. It is a good property and fit for purpose. Pastor Ken and his wife now reside in this property and the compound is safe and secure, it is a safe place for the charities vehicle to be parked.
During this trip, the trustees visited the local communities in which the CIO are working, speaking to the groups, and encouraging the pastors. An Audit of paperwork and financial records was carried out by Lorraine Patience, and all was found to be in order. As well as the Maranatha work, the trustees visited a number of youth groups, and carried out training for Transformed International, which is facilitated by the CIO in Kailahun District.
Our trustees are planning a month-long trip to Sierra Leone in October 22 when they will visit all of the ten communities in which the CIO is working. They will also undertake some monitoring and evaluation work and will do some auditing of the accounts in country. While there they will deliver some training and visit some youth groups for the Transformed International programme.

In the coming year it is hoped that the work will continue to grow and develop further.

Financial Review
The CIO has free reserves of £2,102.04 at the end of the year and has sufficient funds to meet its liabilities.
No funds are in deficit.
