Status: Operational Update & Strategic Review
1. Executive Summary: Current Operational Status
The past year has been a period of strategic transition for the Eid Foundation . While our mission to provide relief work for poor and needy families] remains our primary focus, all physical and financial activities have been placed on temporary hold .
This decision was made by the Board of Trustees to ensure that all future international work is conducted under a formal and secure legal framework.
2. The Pakistan Family Trust Initiative
The core focus of the Foundation’s current administrative phase is the establishment of a Family Trust in Pakistan .

Reasoning: To provide a permanent, transparent, and legally recognized entity through which our charitable activities can be safely channeled.

Progress: We are currently in the [Initial/Legal Review/Registration] phase of setting up this Trust.

Impact: Until this legal structure is fully "Open" and compliant with local regulations, the Foundation has paused outward disbursements to protect the charity’s assets and reputation.
3. Future Actions & Strategy
The primary purpose of this meeting is to determine the "roadmap" for when the Trust is active. The Trustees have identified the following future actions:

Due Diligence: Finalizing the legal documentation and bank account setups for the Pakistanbased Trust.

Project Pipeline: Identifying "shovel-ready" projects that can be launched the moment the Trust is operational.

Resource Mobilization: Maintaining contact with our core supporters so that fundraising can resume immediately once the hold is lifted.

Compliance Check: Ensuring that the relationship between the Eid Foundation and the new Family Trust meets all international regulatory standards.
4. Trustee Statement
"While our activities are currently paused, the Eid Foundation is not stagnant. We are building the 'foundation'—literally and legally—in Pakistan to ensure that when we do resume, our impact is greater, more secure, and more sustainable for the families we serve."
