Para 1.17 and

Due to COVID-19, our charity had limited
activities in the financial year 2021-2022.
However, we have been gradually
recovering and restarting our operations
to fulfill our purpose for public benefit.
Hence during the indicated period, we
have planned out activities which have
followed in the 2022-23 period. Our recent
activities include a series of workshops
with young people in Nottingham. We
remain committed to serving the
community and making a positive impact.
We are also very grateful to have named a
new charity chair recently, Prof. Elvira
Perez Vallejos. This strategic
appointment will facilitate new
collaborations with the local Nottingham
based universities as well as other local
and national organisations.
We have already planned a series of
activities and workshops in the 2023-24
financial year.
Statement confirming
whether the trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public
benefit
Para 1.18 This charity aims is to provide means of
development and inspire young people in
the community in the subjects of Science,
Technology, Engineering and Maths and
other similar subjects of educational
merit. The trustees confirm that they have
had regard to the guidance issued by the

Charity Commission on public benefit in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as stewards of the charity. They have taken steps to ensure that all activities, projects, and services carried out by the charity are aligned with the charity's objectives and serve the public benefit, as outlined in the guidance. All activities carried out by the charity are subject to discussions at regular trustee meetings to follow the objectives of the charity.

Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The charity experienced a slow but
constructive recovery after the COVID-19
pandemic, with activities being
suspended temporarily. During the first
operational year (2021-22), the focus was
primarily on planning future activities and
initiatives to support the community. We
have also worked on the requirements
and developments for our website, which
was one of the pressing outstanding
actions. Despite the challenges posed by
the pandemic, the charity has made
significant progress and plan activities
starting with April 2022.
We have actually returned and carried a
series of workshops with young people in
Nottingham in the indicated financial year
which we are very proud of. The planned
activities for the 2023-24 financial year
aim to make a tangible difference in the
circumstances of our beneficiaries, as
well as provide wider benefits to society
as a whole.

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 The charity's financial position at the end
of March 2023 has been reviewed by the
trustees and is considered to be relatively
strong, as the charity expenditure was 50
during the financial year 2022-23, hence it
has not suffered much loses. We have
also addressed the problem of
fundraising in the upcoming years to
ensure continuity of our impactful
activities. We considered a variety of
sources as well as fundraising activities.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 As no activities that required financial
contributions have been carried out
during this period, we retain the funds for
future activities. The only expense was
the costs associated with renting a room
