Financial Review
The Discover Network was registered on 19th March 2021. Due to complications arising from the Coronavirus Pandemic, it was initially unable to open a bank account. An application to open an account with the Co-operative Bank was accepted in principle on 29th March 2022 subject to proof of identification. As a result of this TDN has not undertaken any fundraising activities in the period 19 March 2021 to 31 March 2022. It had no income or expenditure in the period and currently holds no reserves. There are no liabilities other than the setup and registration costs of £1,170 which were paid on its behalf in the form of an interest-free, indefinite term, personal loan.
As soon as the bank account is available, the Trustees will begin applying for grants and are confident that these will ensure the continuance of TDN as a going concern.
