Chair’s Report

The past year has been both productive and rewarding for our charity. Despite ongoing challenges in the wider economic climate, we have continued to receive generous support from our donors and the community. This support has enabled us to maintain and develop our activities, ensuring that we remain true to our charitable objectives.

Financial Overview

Our total incoming resources for the year amounted to £15,896.34. The primary source of income was donations, which totalled £14,853.31. Additional income was generated through the sale of souvenirs (£464.60), lottery ticket sales (£26.50), and other income streams (£415.31). We are grateful for every contribution, large or small, as each one helps us to continue our work.

Expenditure

We remain committed to the careful stewardship of the charity’s funds. Major expenditures included mooring fees (£1,200.00), insurance (£1,815.66), licences (£723.06), power (£711.43), administration (£708.23), and subscriptions (£73.00). All expenditure has been closely monitored to ensure that resources are used efficiently and in line with our charitable aims.

Achievements and Activities

Throughout the year, we have continued to deliver our core activities, supporting our beneficiaries and engaging the local community. The sale of souvenirs and lottery tickets not only provided additional income but also raised awareness of our cause. We have also worked to strengthen our partnerships with local organisations and supporters.

Looking Ahead

As we move into the next financial year, we remain optimistic about the future. We will continue to seek new funding opportunities and to expand our activities where possible. Our focus will remain on delivering value to our beneficiaries and upholding the trust placed in us by our supporters.

On behalf of the trustees, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our charity during the year. Your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

Signed,

Chair of Trustees
