## **ANNUAL REPORT 2023 - 2024** 

## **Trust Organisaton and Development** 

The trust remained stable throughout the period welcoming new groups to experience a trip on the local canals. Website bookings worked well with the forthcoming 2024 season 95% booked before the end of 2023. 

## **Volunteers** 

The Trust maintained a constant level of volunteers throughout the season with new recruits gaining valuable experience handling the boat, working with other volunteers and meeting various types of user groups. All trips were crewed satisfactorily. 

## **Hargreaves II** 

Several problems have been experienced during the year. Bow Thruster gearbox replacement and major failure of Lead Carbon Batteries. Complete replacement was necessary and unfortunately the originals were out of the warranty period. The hull was blacked satisfactorily. Other minor problems were rectified. 

## **Financial** 

Donations for trips increased slightly however excess expenditure over income resulted in a small loss for the period. Bank balances still remain healthy.
