Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during tho year During the past year, we successfully managed to raise about £ 15,11 I to help carry out our charitsble work. Over the year. we undertook the following charitable work: We gave out food and humanitarian aid to some socially excluded individuals and deprived communities. We made c&sh donations to sojne disadvantsged individuals and deprived communities to help them meet their short-terni essential basic needs. We organised conferences and provided lectures to educate the communitylpublic aix)ut the important role the Islamic Teligion can play in promoting peace and harmony amon8 people in the community and in inspirin8 people to integrate into the wider community and to hclp build a strong. PeacefuL friendly community We organised IT training and workshop to safeguard parents and their children against the danger of misuse of social media. The aim of this workshop was to Cmwwer parents have some controls over their childrcn's uscs of infonnation icthnology, in particular the social media. We provided counselling and awareness programmc for disadvantsged youth in th¢ community. The objective of this programme was to help our targeted youth understand British value and culiure and the importance of integration into the wider community. Also. to encourage them to not use violence as & means of tseklin8 their social problems or for being socially excluded. We organised several outdoor 8POrting and recreational events for the youth. the purposes of these events were to take the children or yOLrth off the street violence and get theffl engaged in sporting and recreational activities that ¢ould help promote go¢xl fn"endship among them and encouraged them to develop positive attitudes towards the communities in which they live, TAR March 2012

But our trustees aKvays use best practice to ensure that reasonable fund is put aside in order to protect the charity against drops in income. The trustees put fund that is needed for immediate use to carry out the work of the charty under unrestrictedlgeneral funds.
