unite the Sudanese community in Oxford, while
also fostering positve relatonships with the
wider local populaton. The charity’s core
purpose, as set out in its governing document, is
to promote social inclusion for the public beneft
by working with individuals in Oxford and
Oxfordshire who are socially excluded due to
their ethnic origin, religion, belief, …etc
partcularly members of the Sudanese
community.
To achieve these aims, the charity:
Provides a local network group that
encourages and enables members of the
Sudanese community to partcipate
more efectvely with the wider
community.
Increases and coordinates opportunites
for members of the Sudanese
community to engage with service
providers, enabling those providers to
adapt services to beter meet the needs
of the community.
Ofers educaton and training in English
language and vocatonal skills.
Organizes social, cultural, and
recreatonal facilites and events
involving the local community.
Through these actvites, the charity seeks to
relieve the needs of those who are socially
excluded and assist them to integrate into
society. All initatves are designed to empower
individuals, foster cultural understanding,
promote social integraton, and provide support
through community programmes and outreach
eforts.|
