Activities
Cofarm Foundation supports the development and promotion of cofarming, which is community-based agroecological farming. The Foundation's first co-farming initiative is in Cambridge, where its wholly owned subsidiary CoFarm Cambridge is establishing a cofarm with and for the local community.
Objects: 1 To Promote For The Public Benefit The Preservation And Conservation Of The Environment Particularly Through The Advancement Of Sustainable Food Production And Methods, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a Supporting The Establishment And Management Of Local Community Farms;b The Advancement Of Sustainable Farming Practices That Encourage Stronger Natural Ecosystems And Greater Biodiversity;c Promoting Participation In Community Farming Initiatives; Andd Advancing The Education Of Communities And The General Public By Conducting Research And Disseminating Educational Materials Encouraging Greater Conservation Of The Physical And Natural Environment2 To Advance Education Of Communities And The General Public In Health And Nutrition By Conducting Research And Disseminating Educational Materials.in The Objects 'Community Farming' Means Co-Farming Which Is Sustainable Community-Based Agroecological Farming And 'Community Farm' Shall Be Read Accordingly
