## **RIDING MILL DRAMA CLUB Treasurer’s Report - Year Ending 8 March 2022**
Once again no produc.on took place during this accoun.ng period, as both the Spring 2021 and Autumn 2021 produc.ons were cancelled due to COVID. However there has been more financial ac.vity than in the previous period, with expenses incurred leading up to our Spring 2022 produc.on which took place at the end of March 2022. It was necessary to buy licences for all three short plays before star.ng rehearsals, so the total cost of £371.40 appears in the accounts for the year to 8 March 2022, whilst the income and all other expenses will be in the accounts to 8 March 2023.
We have changed our bank account to one with Lloyds that is suitable for chari.es. There was a considerable delay in opening this account due to administra.ve errors at Lloyds and following our complaint, they paid £150 compensa.on into the new account.
We have taken the decision to increase subs to £10 single and £17 couple or family, and appreciate so many of our members paying as soon as this increase was announced.
Ticket prices will be reviewed in the lead-up to our Autumn produc.on, and any decision will depend on the costs of staging it. If costs are expected to be much higher than they have been historically, we will need to increase .cket prices.
