Activities
The charity was set up to address the physical and mental well-being needs of the farming and wider rural community of Greater Exmoor. It offers free drop-in clinic at the livestock market at Wheddon Cross coinciding with monthly cattle and sheep sales. The clinics are staffed by NHS professionals and volunteers from local farming and community based charities.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is The Advancement Of The Mental And Physical Health And Wellbeing For The Public Benefit Of The Farming And Wider Rural Community Of Greater Exmoor By Providing Health Screening, Treatment, Information And Advice On Mental And Physical Health And Wellbeing Issues Delivered By Health Care Professionals At Locations To Be Determined By The Trustees As Need Arises, Together With Onward Referral Services To General Practitioners And Other Relevant Health And Wellbeing Professionals Where Appropriate.
