## **Financial Review**

**----- Start of picture text -----**
Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 CSN’s turnover falls below £25,000, and is
financial position at the end therefore below the audit threshold and is
of the period exempt from detailed accounting
disclosures. Trading for the year has been
positive with the Charity generating
sufficient income to meet all outgoings and
retain a surplus. Expenditure over the year
largely relates to charitable activities, being
the running of CSN’s two key events. Other
key expenditure consists of support costs
required for the day-to-day running of CSN,
inclusive of administrative costs. Income
generated during the period was split
between grants received and ticket sales
for key events. Successful fundraising
together with existing surplus reserves, are
expected to be utilised by CSN in 2023 and
beyond to further CSN’s mission and
objectives.
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 To enable responsible budgeting for 2023,
policy for holding reserves and to enable committed activities such as
stating why they are held
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 c.£4,100
Reasons for holding zero Para 1.22 N/A
reserves
Details of fund materially in Para 1.24 N/a funds remains in surplus at the year-
deficit end.
Explanation of any Para 1.23 The Trustees continue to view the charity
uncertainties about the as a going concern. Whilst the charity does
charity continuing as a going not have any material fixed costs, post
concern year-end the charity has been awarded
several large grants to fund future growth.
**----- End of picture text -----**
