## **Section C                    Objectives and activities**

## **Section D                      Achievements and performance** 

Our overall main achievement for this reporting year has been the **Summary of the main** recruitment of our first paid employee. Thanks to a grant from Lambeth **achievements of the charity** Council’s Social Value Fund we now have a Project and Governance **during the year** Coordinator to help with the work of the charity. 

We received 52 applications to the advert and invited 12 to interview. It was great to receive so many applications and have a wide pool from which to recruit. We are incredibly pleased to have been joined by Cheyanne Henderson (she / they) who has added much needed support and value from the very beginning. 

In recognition of our volunteer board of trustees, we successfully collaborated with a local charity, Age UK Lambeth, a contract that means they employee Cheyeanne who is then seconded to Lambeth Links. This means that Cheyanne has the full support of an organisation with the relevant policies and procedures in place to ensure proper support and also means that payroll, PAYE etc. is taken care of, reducing the administrative burden on volunteer trustees.

## **Section D                      Achievements and erformance p** 

We continue to engage with statutory and other voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations. We have: 

- Continues close cooperation with the Met Police about hate crime and other offences against our community. We ran jointly a hate crime stall at a local LGBTQ+ venue. 

- We had another extremely successful LGBT+ LIFE! Art exhibition as part of LGBT History Month, with more contributors sharing their art. 

- Held our annual stall at the Lambeth Country Show. 

- Held our annual Pride Picnic event in association with Myatt's Fields Park Project. 

- Continued our work on ‘Not Going into the Care Closet’ series of events around LGBTQ+ ageing and how we are treated when we go into care, and ran community workshops on: 

   - Care at Home 

   - Safeguarding 

   - Mental Capacity and Lasting Power of Attorney 

   - Care homes 

- Spoke on the Inclusion in Sport Panel at Surrey County Cricket Club as part of Pride Month 

- Continued our work on the Landmark for the Landmark project, to recognise the Landmark HIV Centre in Lambeth.

We have received money from Lambeth Council to recruit and employ a project governance coordinator. They are employed by a third-party charity (Age UK Lambeth) and seconded to Lambeth Links. Therefore, Lambeth Links is not an employer. 

There are a number of large-scale projects such as the GLA’s Untold Stories Project in Lambeth that will come to fruition in the next financial year.
