CharityAim and Objertives: The relief of poverty and the advancement of education for people living in rural areas within Sri Lanka, particularly (but not exclusively) victirns of the civil war and natural disasters, by supporting them in their basic food, rnedical and educational needs. Events and Fund Raising: The Chair conducts online and in-person fitness classes, for which attendees pay an annual membership fee. Online classes incur costs for Zoom membership, and in-person classes incur costs ftsr hall hire. Aside from these costs, all income goes directly to the charity. Donations are a150 received voluntarily from donors, some of whom contribute on a recurring monthly basis. The Trustees and volunteers also completed a charity hike Ben Nevis as a fundraising event in Au8USt 2023. Funds were also raised through profits from the member's annual Christmas Dinner, which was held on 23 December 2023.
