Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To prevent chronic and acute poverty, hardship and suffering without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race, or of political, religious or other opinions and where there is need, particularly, in communities that need support to recover from conflict and the aftermath of natural disasters. To relieve financial hardship among displaced persons, needy individuals and their dependants and communities living in villages struck by poverty by providing financial assistance, food and non-food items. The prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education and skills training projects and all the necessary support to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. The relief of poverty by providing items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.
